Privacy enforced by architecture, not promised in a policy

This is Braj’s only durable differentiator versus every incumbent — and it is a hard requirement, not a marketing line.

The guarantees

Six commitments, built into the system

The formal, legally-framed version lives in the privacy policy. This is what those words mean in the architecture.

Per-user encryption

Location history, consumption, addresses and payment metadata are encrypted per user — never sold, never used to train an ad model.

Per-town encrypted config

Each Braj town controls its own integrations, model providers, retention windows and data flows. A new town is a config row, not a fork — and the operator cannot read or resell user data.

No ad model, no data sale

There is no advertising business and no data-monetization model. The product is funded by the service, not by the surveillance of the people using it.

Export & delete, on request

Per-user control over retention and sharing, data export and deletion on request, and a full audit trail. The differentiator is something you can exercise, not just read about.

Surge without manipulation

Matching is operational, never a data-resale or behavioural-manipulation surface. Surge stays inside the ≤2× regulatory cap with transparent disclosure.

DPDP by design

Data handling is DPDP-aligned, with scoped credential storage, least-privilege access and a full audit log wired in from day one.

Answers

Privacy, in plain answers

Does Braj sell my personal data?

No. Braj has no ad model and never sells user data. Your location history, orders, addresses and payment metadata are encrypted per user and are not used to train ad models.

What does “privacy by architecture” actually mean?

It means privacy is enforced by how the system is built, not merely promised in a policy. Data is encrypted per user, each town runs its own encrypted config, the operator cannot read or resell user data, and there is no data-monetization model.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Braj provides per-user control over retention and sharing, with data export and deletion available on request, and a full audit trail.
