Legal
Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Braj app, website and services.
By using Braj, you agree to these terms. Braj is operated by Ekarche Private Limited (CIN U58200UW2026PTC253262).
Who can use Braj
You must be of legal age to enter a binding contract and to use the services you request. Drivers, riders and merchants must additionally meet the verification and licensing requirements for their category before going live.
What Braj is
Braj is a technology platform that connects you with independent local supply — drivers and captains, kiranas, restaurants, pharmacies and service providers. Where groceries and pharmacy are fulfilled, supply comes from existing local merchants over ONDC; Braj is the buyer-app and local-logistics layer, not the seller of those goods.
Acceptable use
- Provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- Do not use Braj for anything unlawful, or to harass or endanger another person.
- Do not attempt to circumvent masked contact, safety, or payment controls.
- Regulated items (such as prescription medicines) are subject to verification and applicable law.
Payments
Prices, applicable fees and any delivery fee are shown before you confirm. Cash-on-delivery and UPI are both supported. Fare and surge for rides follow the applicable aggregator guidelines, including the regulatory surge cap. Refunds and cancellations are covered in the refunds & cancellations policy.
Supply partners
Drivers, riders and merchants are independent and responsible for their own services, licences and tax obligations. Braj operates on a zero/low-commission model and discloses what it takes and what the partner keeps.
Privacy
Your use of Braj is also governed by our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Liability
Braj provides the platform on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, Braj is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent supply partners beyond its role as the connecting platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination & suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to Braj, in whole or in part, where we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, provided false or misleading information, failed verification or licensing required for your category, engaged in fraud, abuse or unsafe conduct, or where suspension is necessary to comply with applicable law or a lawful request. Where practical and not prohibited by law, we will give notice and a chance to remedy a breach before terminating.
You may stop using Braj and close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the services ends, but any orders, trips or payments already in progress are completed or settled, and outstanding amounts remain due. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including those on payments and settlement, supply-partner responsibility, liability, governing law and jurisdiction, and any accrued rights or obligations — survive termination.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any consumer-protection right you have to approach a forum near you, the courts at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India — where Ekarche Private Limited has its registered seat — have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Braj.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms as the service and the law evolve. Questions? Contact braj@ekarche.com.
