Braj

How it worksकैसे काम करता है

Eight everyday verticals, one account

One login, one wallet, one address book — across rides, food, kirana groceries, parcel, pharmacy, bills, errands and a Braj-specific pilgrim layer.

Rides

सवारी

Auto, e-rickshaw, bike and cab — zero-commission for drivers, fare-disclosed for you.

Food

खाना

Local restaurants and home cooks, a flat delivery fee — never a hidden 16–30% rake.

Kirana groceries

राशन

Your town’s existing kiranas via ONDC — not company dark stores.

Parcel

पार्सल

Intracity courier with live tracking and proof of delivery — and the ship-home backbone.

Pharmacy

दवा

Local pharmacies, prescription upload, regulated-item handling — asset-light.

Bill-pay & recharge

बिल

Mobile, DTH, electricity, FASTag over standard BBPS rails.

Errands & services

काम

“Buy X from the market,” drop a document, book an electrician — on a transparent service fee.

Pilgrim layer

दर्शन

Darshan logistics, prasad delivery and ship-home, dharamshala discovery, festival overlays.

One accountएक खाता

Everything shares the same login

No five apps, no five KYCs, no five wallets. Unified identity is the whole reason a super-app earns its place.

One identity & wallet

A single login and KYC, one wallet, one saved-address and payment book shared across every vertical — plus one credits surface and one support channel.

Landmark-aware addresses

Towns aren’t grid-addressed. The address book understands temples, dharamshalas and landmark addressing — “near Banke Bihari gali” is a real address.

Cash and UPI, both first-class

Rural UPI is still uneven, so cash-on-delivery is never deprecated. Pay how the town pays.

Built for entry Android

Small app, image-light flows, offline-tolerant order state that survives a flaky 4G connection. Hindi-first, with large tap targets and voice affordances.

ONDC, asset-lightस्थानीय आपूर्ति

Your town’s shops are the supply

Discovery and fulfilment ride public ONDC rails instead of a closed marketplace built from zero.

Groceries from your kiranas

Kiranas onboard as ONDC sellers; Braj is the buyer-app and local-logistics layer. Supply is the town’s existing retail — not company dark stores.

Pharmacy, asset-light

Existing town pharmacies as supply, with prescription upload and regulated-item handling — not a Braj-owned inventory.

Public rails, not a walled garden

Operating as an ONDC buyer and, where relevant, a seller/logistics node keeps merchant commissions at zero/near-zero and supply tractable.

Answers

How Braj works, in plain answers

Do I need separate apps for rides, food and groceries?

No. Rides, food, kirana groceries, parcel, pharmacy, bill-pay, errands and the pilgrim layer all live in one Braj app, sharing a single login, wallet and address book.

Where do groceries come from?

From your town’s existing kirana stores, onboarded as ONDC sellers. Braj is the buyer-app and the local-logistics layer — there are no company-operated dark stores.

Can I pay cash?

Yes. Cash-on-delivery and UPI are both first-class. Braj does not deprecate cash, because rural UPI ability is still uneven.

Will Braj work on my phone and patchy network?

Braj is built for entry Android over patchy 4G — a small app, image-light flows, and offline-tolerant order state that survives connectivity drops, with a Hindi-first interface.
